concluding from my first tests it seems that the FastEcho support in Msged
4.1 (OS/2 version) does not work at all.

The important part of my msged.cfg reads:

AreaFile FastEcho d:\bt\fe\fastecho.cfg

Msged simply displays the manually defined netmail area, thats all. In the
FastEcho configuration, there are defined about 30 Hudson messages areas
and a number of passthrough areas.
