| subject: | Re: Run a BBS on a Linux Server |
Hi Al! It's nice to hear from you. You and a few other people helped me a lot a few years back when I was doing the hosting from home thing. I'm steering away from hosting from home now because of all the obvious benefits. (Plus my pcs are old & crappy.) AI> I usually copy files to my linode with scp. An FTP server could also be AI> used. I should be more specific. I can handle uploading mystic to the server, but what about running it on the server? I don't have shell access; is there a way around that? --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A43 2019/03/03 (Raspberry Pi/32)* Origin: Alcoholiday / Est. 1995 / alco.bbs.io (1:123/525) SEEN-BY: 10/0 1 15/0 16/101 19/36 20/4609 34/999 90/1 102/401 103/705 104/57 SEEN-BY: 106/201 116/18 120/331 123/140 525 128/2 135/369 153/7715 154/10 SEEN-BY: 203/0 214/22 218/0 1 215 401 410 520 601 640 700 720 802 221/0 1 360 SEEN-BY: 222/2 229/426 230/150 152 240/1120 5832 250/1 261/38 100 266/512 SEEN-BY: 267/155 275/0 89 90 91 98 100 101 201 280/464 5003 282/1031 1056 SEEN-BY: 291/1 111 292/854 310/31 320/119 219 322/756 340/400 342/13 396/45 SEEN-BY: 423/120 633/0 267 280 281 384 410 412 509 640/1321 1384 712/848 770/1 SEEN-BY: 801/161 189 2320/105 2452/250 3634/12 5020/715 1042 @PATH: 123/525 275/91 100 261/38 218/700 103/705 280/464 221/1 640/1384 @PATH: 633/280 267 |
