     loosing connections from your ISP is a VERY common problem with these

flashers.. and I have to suffer every day becasue of this..  >sigh!!<
     As for why your modem doesn't work anymore.. it may be because you 
idn't
initiate the AT&F2W1WZ command, and then power-cycle the modem as the
instructions said.
