 We've got enough problems keeping up power to feed all the air conditioners
in the summer, I'd hate to see what happens when everybody plugs their car
in when they get home from work.

Just like a locomotive. 
But that takes all the fun factor out of hot rodding.  I like my thundering
V8 by jeezus. Keeps people out of the way, it usually wakes up the weary
pedestrian about to jay-walk into my path.
