However, General Richard B Myers requested that CBS News hold off broadcasting the story for two weeks, & CBS did so, because of "the danger and tension on the ground in Iraq". Myers warned that the story & images could incite Iraqi groups... None of Bush's advisors & subordinates felt it necessary to have a word in his shell-like during that two week delay that images were about to be broadcast that would lose him the war. Imagine that.
