 Yep. It's like paying off the current Native Indians for what
 "we" did to their ancestors. A conscience clearing item at taxpayer
expense and don't think for one split second those who receive such
monies are all honest folks who are above exploiting for whatever
reason, the good of others.


There's this WIC program for example. It's a government program that
via vouchers gives 'women in trouble' free milk and cheese for a
certain length of time even if she gets OUT of the trouble she is still
eligible to to the program until the voucher runs out. And Um. Let me
tell you. The amount given from what I have seen/know
is excessive and goes to waste.

The gummit doesn't mind wasting taxpayer money as long as it shuts up
a few people demanding certain things, to get their vote. This
giving people what they want (rather than need)
is not necessarily to anyone's benefit in the long.
