Hi Sara,
SG³ Who cares whether you make up stitches or not if they look good? since
SG³ I don't know anyone else close by who does ribbon embroidery, I don't
SG³ know exactly how any stitch is supposed to look. I only know if I
SG³ finish a piece and I like how it looks. I don't even know if th women
SG³ at work would tell me if they didn't think a pin or blouse I made looked
SG³ great. I guess I just have to go on whether I like the appearance of
SG³ embroidered items. Trust your own judgement. Your stuff probably looks
 SG³ great too.
I think I like your attitude girl. :-)
SG³ Have you ever seen the video put out by Buscilla where they show how to
SG³ do some stitches? I printed the directions you sent and I'll try that
SG³ stitch. It will be a new one for me so I'm excited about trying it.
SG³ I'll let you know after I do.
I have both of the Videso by Buscilla. I STILL can't do the french
knot. I haven't had time to practice lately I've been busy stamping.
I have a couple of stamps that are so beautiful that there is nothing I
can do to embellish them. They look just great stamped with black ink on a
white background. When I come up against a stamp like that, where ALL the
art is in the stamp I try to write someting to go along with the stamp.
Something that I'm inspired by the stamp its self. I've been trying to
do this with a stamp since yeasturday and the only words I come up with are
Peace, Joy, Calm, and Rapture (which means Peace, Joy, Calm). I can't wait
until the words come to me. It should be interesting. Both of the stamps
that I have that have caused this delemma are made by A LA ART. They
make the loveliest stamps.
This particular stamp is a young man sitting on the ground playing his
guitar. It is really beautiful.
Thank you for complementing my card work. I didn't remember sending you
one in the exchange. I have oldtimers memory. Which one did you keep?
Yep I'm waiting for my shelves. They were suppose to get done this
weekend but I haven't heard form him so I guess it's not going to happen
this week. Darn!
I can't wait. I am so tired of going through all my stamps to find one
stamp. I been looking for a special one to make a bookmark for the
last two days. I know it's there, but I'm just not seeing it.
I used to keep a book and everytime I'd get a stamp I'd put an impression
of the stamp in the book. Well, I got to many stamps to fast and I got to
busy and I haven't done that in a long time. It will take me forever to
update that book. It was a good idea though because I could go through the
book and get ideas as I looked at the pictures of the stamps. One of these
days maybe I'll get the time to do that again.
VAl........
