I was working in a Mac/Windows shop when they came out, and we had a handful 
of them in the office (most were Dell 14" laptops, MacBook Pro 15s and Air 
13s.)

I think the 17" could make a great desktop replacement system, now. I wish 
I'd had more time to play with one.

The killer laptop was the old Dell XPS 15; Retina-like resolution, lots of 
horsepower, greta build quality and much cheaper than the MBPs were buying 
when comparably equipped.
