Darned little just what I recall from my ARRL Handbook.
They are designed for resonance at line frequency in such a way
that they are much more tightly voltage regulated
over rated load and input voltage swings.
Regards to altering them for different voltages I
believe you are out of luck as that is precsely what they
are designed to prevent.
