subject: DNF Music... again!

So, still thinking about putting Econoline Crush's music into DNF? It
certainly sounds right. By the way, they're Canadian.
You could also put in another Canuck band, King Cobb Steelie. Makes sense,
given some of the lyrics in their psychadelic track, 'Rational'.
"Today I tried like hell to save my mind from troubled times,
But I couldn't stop the desperation, fighting for my life."
It's not frenetically paced, so George "I hate bass" Broussard might
actually like it. :-)
Also, I recently got the Wipeout XL soundtrack. A must-have if you're into
techno, since most of the bands are high-quality (Daft Punk, Prodigy,
Chemical Brothers, etc.). I think Orbital's track 'Petrol', and Future Sound
of London's 'We Have Explosive' (Herd Killing version) would make for good
game tracks.
Lastly, I imagine you may have snooped Sonic Mayhem's Website
(www.sonicmayhem.com if you haven't). They've got a super-quality MP3 file
which is the intro to track #2 on the upcoming Quake II CD. Inspiration, thy
name is Copying...
PS If I were to apply at 3D Realms (whenever that would be), would mentioning
that I watch Monty Python's Flying Circus almost every day help? :-)
