IIRC, SUS (Software Updates Service) is the in-house version of Windows
Update.  Your disconnected network machines would update/verify via
internally located and managed SUS servers.

 You'd still need a bridgehead to MS to import updates for your
disconnected net, of course, perhaps a non-secure machine with internet
access and a DVD burner,
