The Fido Filebone is a system of file echos (this conference is a MESSAGE
echo).  Files get echoed form system-to-system.  Any Fido sysop can connect

a filebone feed &receive whatever file areas he/she wants -- these get tossed
(by Allfix or similar file tosser) into BBS file areas for users to download.
The FileGate is similar, but is trans-continental, with hubs on all
continents.  All FileGate files are carried by the Fido Filebone, btw.
