  Instant gratification is just as much part and parcel of political
  life as it is for everyone else. same with John Howard and his Unfair
  Dismissal laws, sure he's made friends with the small business owners
  but what of the workers who now get the short end of the stick, their
  employers can now make them do anything, because of this one year
  probationary period, knowing that if they complain, they are out of a
  job, without so much as any chain accountability.
