My point was that the M109's gun will depress enough to hit the horizon.

That's an improvised use for it, & I suspect it's in the manual.
When I got in on this thread we were talking about firing LAWS at advancing
infantry, as was done outside a Marine base Lebanon. As "improper" as it
may have been . . . . it damned sure worked, & there's no denying that!
