I interested in:
1. If You use physically isolated LAN, why You do not have Update/Patching plan ?
2. If You have the same kind of the network, it would mean that there is no
data going in or out (or maybe going out by the paper way ? Or there are
some CD burners involved ?)
3. If no data is going in and You are using secured LAN, in theory, You do
not need updates at all because there is no way You can be harmed ?, but if
You are using CD burners to get data out of the LAN, You can bring data
back in, like updates maybe, to add them to SUS or manual patching
mechanism ?
4. If You are permitted to bring data in and data out, that is not so
isolated workspace at all, isnt it ?
5. When the whole infrastrcutrue plan was built, wasnt there someone that
could say: "Ok, We have these choices and We can use this and do that
..." ?
6. I still do not understand the problem, network is or is not isolated ?
7 ... I think there are more then one +/- to this situation, but the
healthy mind should solve the problem.
Sorry if I did not understand the problem right.
