We are having our first snow right now. Not much but it's coming, mixed with
a lot of dead leaf.

 JW> We pulled everything we could from our little garden Sept. 15th. Even the
 JW> tomatoes and the lettuce were fine. The day it snowed it was still about
 JW> plus 4C. We didn't have a hard frost until later in the month which is
 JW> unusual for around here.

It's a bit early for snow here too. It won't last very long.

 JW> We also transplanted one plant each of oregano, basil, chocolate mint,
 JW> lavender, rosemary and thyme into pots and brought them indoors so we
 JW> still have a garden on the windowsill.

It's nice with green rooms in winter.
