As stated elsewhere, the config policies just take the name of the server,
or IP address.  Mine are all set to \\10.1.1.13  the address where the
server runs.  Part of the install of the software, as well, is a
"hardening" security run, that removes all the stuff that needs
to be removed (sample pages, admin pages, etc).  Very much like the
hardening function that you manually follow.  I was not looking forward to
setting it up, but in reality, it was very simple to setup and get going. 
The biggest time consumer, was dowloading ALL the patches to fill the local
catalog of available updates.
