I quite like Media Player 10.

Maybe 6 would be better if all you do is stream an occasional audio clip,
and even then I'm not sure. But if you store music or other media on your
computer, there is no way 6 is to be preferred.

It has library functions for organizing my media by artist, album,
composer, etc., which 6 does not have. It has the ability to edit the MP3
tags, which 6 does not have. It can rip and burn CDs, which 6 does not do.
It can play DVDs, which 6 cannot do. It has a built-in equalizer, which 6
doesn't have. It is skinnable, and 6 is one of its skins (although I like
using it in "full" mode). It lets me create playlists, which 6
does not have. It loads in two seconds on my old Pentium II 450. It uses
only 6MB of memory. It smoothly plays videos, mp3s, wmas. I'm sure it
supports a superset of codecs that 6 supports. What more could I want?
