re - not doing cakes - in one group I used to be in, predominantly men,
for a long time they would give, as a joke, a twinkie or a devil dog 
with a candle in it.  This until a lady with cake decorating expertixe 
got sober and asked to perform the service work of cake making - to 
keep her sober and inspired.  Anyway, I was trying to diet at one point
and somewhat successful - so they gave me a two -liter bottle of diet 
soda with the candle crazy-glued on top and LIT at one of my 
anniversaries.  (Does the big book mention this?  double grin!)
