It should be possible to do this by using the Cfg_File****** commands
(though I've never tried them to read a language file personally) , but
I'm sure there is a much cleaner method to accomplish what you are
trying to do without resorting to writing to the language file.
For example you can have the language file prompt simply run a script
and allow the script to control which prompt is actually displayed based
on some user flags, security, a random number, or even on custom
made semephore files.


But If you insist on using Cfg_File***** commands, here is a small
example of how I used some of the Cfg_File*** commands to read the
config.ra and grab either the semephore path, or if none was defined it
grabs the main EleBBS path itself. This is from my who's online script:

; Need to find the semephore path from config.ra
Cfg_FileOpen 1 config.ra CONFIG
Cfg_FileRead 1
; Get field number 189 (Semephore Path)
Cfg_FileGetInfo 1 189 30
If 30 = ""
  Cfg_FileGetInfo 1 31 30
EndIf
Cfg_FileClose 1
