subject: Fabric Stash

Hi Julia,
JS> Well I managed to get a good deal of my fabric stash in order
It's good to see you're not just sitting around twiddling your thumbs.
(G)
JS> will finish my stash cabinet for the time being. I took a rough count

I'd better not let Steve see your total; he thinks I have that much but
it's probably not even 200 yards.
JS> or Pergamano yesterday. But that should not be the case today. The
JS> FQ's should not take as long as the yardage did. I have a couple of
I know for sure I don't have that many. We finally got cable TV a few
weeks ago so I've been trying to catch different sewing/quilting shows
on PBS.  I managed to see "Quilt in a Day" last week for the first time;
her voice was driving me nuts but I was interested in the quilt she was
working on (Nana's Flower Garden) so I didn't turn it off. That looks
like a project that would be great for fat quarters; I'll have to jot
down some ideas on it. Another thing I'm thinking of doing with them is
Log Cabin squares.
Have to put any ideas on hold tho, Rachel is leaving on Friday and I've
got to pull together some clothes for her (a dress, lined jumper and
lined skirt). If I can have it all done but the hemming, I can do that
later and mail her the stuff. I have the jumper and skirt cut out; she
wants a prototype of the dress before I cut it out. Well, that will
give me an idea of the hem so......... I also have to make new feet for
one of her Raggedy Anns and patch in half a dozen squares on the quilt I
made for her 2nd birthday.
Catch you later,
Ruth
