Same here....I just tell subscribers that if they wish to use credit, write a
convenience check from their Visa/MC/etc, since they have to mail in a signed
filled in application anyway. I boost them up for 5 days to subscriber when
they tell me that they've mailed it out, and it should be in by then. If not,
they bump back automatically to their trial level and I don't offer them the
opportunity again for a free 5 days subscription. Works well so far, and
everyone seems happy with it. Now selling items on-line might make more sense
to have auto deposit of funds to facilitate shipping as soon as possible.
