AA> Oh.. I'm not worried about FileManager. I rarely use it anyway.
AA> Thanks for the tip though; I am sure others can make use of it.

That possibility CAN ONLY be done Tom, using the UPGRADE version of Win95.
Those who purchase a new system with Win95 installed, or those who purchase
Win95 the full version, (not the upgrade version), will not be able to
utilize the old "File Mgr." Because, that feature is not available with
Win95. The upgrade version to Win95 allows many of the old Win3xx files
to operate with Win95.
At first, I set up my Windows Explorer (Win95's version of File Mgr).
the same way as I had my File Mgr. set up. I enjoyed being able to split
the screen thereby giving me access to move files between different
directories, or drives. One side of the screen was for drive C. The other
for whichever drive I clicked on. So, I set up Win95's version the same
way...Lo and behold, after exiting, I no longer had the setup anymore.
It reverted back to only one screen setting! MOST ANNOYING!!!
That was when I discovered that merely moving "WINFILE" to my START button
gave me the old "File Mgr." back!
Sincerely,
Michael Sharon
