Exactly how does the Toss to Directory option work?  How do the outgoing
files get deleted after they have been picked up from that directory by the
remote?
 
I want to use IREX to toss some packets to a directory on a ftp server so
that another node can pick them up.  I am confused as to how those files
are determined to have been sent successfully, and what process cleans out
the directory so that there are no duplicate transmissions.
