| subject: | runexternal and PING |
this recent playing with runexternal and your other recent comment about possibly being able to use netmgr to process ping messages got me to thinking about it... sadly the major problem, that i have found, is that netmgr won't export a message as text with the control lines in it. everything else should be pretty easy to do... ummm... well... except not processing already processed passing through ping messages... hummm... that's gonna take some more contemplating... as for the problem part, the only way i can see doing it is with tool that will read the netmail msg and write it to a text file with the control lines in it... however, if we're going that far, we might as well go ahead and do the entire ping thing in this tool... i had to go take a look to see what tool i'm using for this function and how it is set up... i'm currently using O/T-Track to perform this function... O/T-Track is freeware, now, too... )\/(ark* Origin: (1:3634/12) SEEN-BY: 10/1 3 14/300 34/999 90/1 106/1 120/228 123/500 134/10 140/1 222/2 SEEN-BY: 226/0 249/303 261/20 38 100 1404 1406 1418 266/1413 280/1027 320/119 SEEN-BY: 393/68 396/45 633/104 260 267 285 690/682 712/848 800/432 801/161 189 SEEN-BY: 2222/700 2320/100 2905/0 @PATH: 3634/12 123/500 261/38 633/260 267 |
