First, please turn off your CAPS LOCK, if possible. It's not only difficult
to read, but it's considered rude and SHOUTING (assuming you can do anything
about it).
As for comparing drugs to gambling, the former does not challenge the
integrity of the game, whereas the latter most certainly does, at least when
betting MLB games. Also, there is a sign in every single clubhouse that
clearly states that gambling on MLB games is cause for lifetime banishment.
So every single player and coach knows ahead of time the consequences they're
facing.
Having said that, I think the Hall of Fame is separate issue, and he should
be eligible, even if the lifetime suspension remains in effect.
