-> I dont think I could every turn on them... I would more likely be
-> turned off to all of baseball if they ever just demolished our team
-> as Florida did..
That's also what I would likely do..... Even though I also like the Angels, I
haven't been a huge fans of their since 1986... Not so much for losing the
ALCS that year, but the manner in which a few big-name players suddenly found
themselves without contracts. Reggie Jackson and Bobby Grich to name a
couple, plus the oh-so-classy way they handled Bob Boone's contract negotions
that offseason.... *sigh*
-> But they do need to get their Stuff to gether, they have to much
-> Talent...
Agreed. They need help in a few places, but there's alot of talent there
already.
-> You know, i really think we did another Pedro Martinez with Mr
-> Astascio.. that kid is gonna be a great pitcher... he's going to have
-> good #'s even playing in coors field.
I could never understand why Astacio never pitched well with the Dodgers, but
if what he did down the stretch in Colorado is any sign, the Dodgers probably
made a mistake. Not only for getting rid of him, but not giving Wilton
Guerrero more time to develop at second (now they're trying him out in center
field, and I guess he's actually handling center field better than he ever
handled second base!)
