If you mean would they replace your used car with a brand new one, the 
bvious
answer would be no. There would be reasonable compensation. You first need to
realize that the chances of the police ever commandeering your vehicle would
be about the same chance as a small asteroid hitting you in the head. If you
are worried about the asteroid, may I suggest buy an asteroid helmet?
