In the last few year, I have been on Carnival, RCCL, and Costa.
There have been ship-sponsored dives on each of these lines. The
RCCL and the Costa cruises were last winter and this winter
respectively. The Carnival was a few years ago.
This year, I did southern Carribbean, and Costa had dives
scheduled at three of the ports that we stopped at. I wanted to
spend as little time as possible with dive charter logistics, and
so I went on the cruise ship dive in St. Thomas. I was quite
happy with the dive and the package as a whole. Heck...It even
started raining while we were walking back to the cruise ship,
and so we got an unscheduled fresh-water rinse!
If you have any questions about diving on a cruise, check with
the travel agent, and get a list of shore excursions. By the
way.....(shameless plug)....I have a close friend that is a
