Ok so I'm noticing disk activity when I have the computer doing absolutely
nothing. A little tracking leads me to the media center event log where I'm
finding events like this

DownloadPackgeTask.SubTasksComplete: successfully downloaded package SportsSchedule.

DownloadPackgeTask.SubTasksComplete: successfully downloaded package Directory.

MCUpdate started at 02/11/2007 11:03:33.

where the hell do I turn off this shit? I can find no service or running
process that looks like it might be the one.
