Two years ago I said: "If they wanne go, let them go". I still stand by that.
The UK has never been a loyal member of the EU. Always cherry picking for the
goodies. Always wanting "a better deal", always wanting special privileges, but
never wanting the parts that they did not like. Not joining the Euro, not
joining the Schengen treaty, etc etc.
By now it is pretty clear that the Brexit is good for nobody. Not for the UK
end not for the EU. But the UK will suffer a lot more than the EU. Already now
the damage to their economy is greater than what they will gain by not having
to pay the EU contribution any more.
The EU will suffer too, but not as much as the UK. In the end the EU will
recover and it will move forward without the bad boy dragging its feet.
RB> I'm only glad I'm not in the middle of this.
But you are...
Cheers, Michiel
