Why bother with a used inflator? You should be able to purchase a new
inflator at most any dive shop for around $35.00, which is pretty cheap
compared to most dive gear. These $35.00 units are kind of a "generic"
inflator and are found on many different brands of BCD's. They are plain
black plastic, and are retailed by Trident, I think. Note: this doesn't
include a hose, but those corrugated inflator hoses are also not very
expensive. I have used one of these $35.00 inflators on more than 100
dives and it has been sturdy and completely reliable.
