I am here to say that on behalf of all hoh/deaf/Deaf people everywhere
the fart joke about the hoh guy in church whispering he let out a
silent fart and his wife says 'your hearing aid needs a new
battery"..... is blatantly stupid and ignorant. We must help our
hearing abled people avoid embarrassment of being stupid and ignorant.

My hubby would always let me know I fart when I do . I'd say honey
KNOW I farted. I can FEEL it. But he likes to tease me anyway. That's
okay but just for the record, we need to let hearing people know that
us deaf/Deaf/HOH can 'hear' farts. Silent or otherwise.
