Well I first put her in the head set I wanted and just used the riens tied
back through the saddle rings while I ground worked her..
I dug out an old set of Side pulls that I'm using only as I need to. More
then anything else.. I've got to find a bit she likes. So I"m going to be
playing musical bits this weekend since I won't have any time for it next
week.
CJ got a 50 minute trot tonight while I was riding with a friend.. we were
gabbing away about his calvary days in Germany just after the war.. It was
such a nice ride.. pleasant but warm day and I had CJ in a slow jog to keep
her in pace with this fellows TB... I was so involved with the ride that
after enough time went by.. CJ decided to spook to get my attention (Well it
was the 4th and plenty of firecrackers were going off).. realized how long
we'd been riding and the spook kinda got her ouchy.. so we quite. Longest
ride I'd been on her in a long time.. and she did work up a lather.
Tush got saddled after dark.. lots of fireworks.. took her into the small pen
before hand since she was a tad high... did a very light ride with a friend
looking at a three year old.. Tush was fine with the fireworks, chuckle.. she
was more interested in the 3 year old gelding.. he's kind of a cutey. ;)
My daughter the slut! ;)
