???
I know of no disassembler that reads directly off the boot record. I
is easy enough, however, to read the boot record using the BIOS
calls, then write it to a file such as "BOOT.COM"
Then run this through any disassembler. I have a disassembler, maybe
two; but I have not used them in so long that I have to figure it out
all over again. [grin]
PM>Also, what base offset does the BIOS chip & setup work with at boot?
That depends on the maker. The boot record is loaded into RAM, but i
don't know where. It doesn't get used for very long.
