| I have double, triple, and quintuple checked to make sure that the gates
| are pointed to gate nodes numbers (the aforementined dummies) and that they
| have the "mother" node listed as the "from" node.

Nevermind!  ;-)  Someone forgot to be sure to set the new points to noarc
in their Route.cfg file.  ;-)
