TH>Well, you can customize the colors on the IDE to anything you want. I
TH>like a black background, and I use different colors for reserved
TH>words, constants, etc. It's nice, but I wish the keys could be
TH>reassigned, and I wish it supported macros. (the IDE)
Macros? What would you use macros for? Most of the menu deals are just
pull down and use. A key re-assignment would be nice though =)
TH>Also, you will no doubt experience system lock up when your
TH>developing program doesn't do what you expected. Just booting to DOS
TH>is so much faster.
Found that out ... F8 - 6 ... more speed =)
TH>Sure. Have fun. Start is little projects. Don't ignore the chapter
TH>inhow to write programs. It has some headache saving tips.
Already read the whole (116pages) "Introduction to C++" It helps a lot,
although it doesn't tell you how to do some of the things that I'd like
to know ... like how do you open a serial port for keyboard
communications ... then get the port settings from a .cfg file, cuz my
modem is on com3 irq11 03e8 - that's because of win95 ...grrrrrr....
Later!
