Might want to check out that tank and the fuel line as well...had that 
problem on a vehicle I was trying to bring back to life.  The previous owner 
had patched the gas tank and did not use anything better than a piece of hose 
for the fuel pickup...yep, had to find a useable pickup with screen and clean 
out the entire fuel line before she would run reliably.
