OK, so Internet Rex has decided it no longer wants to send out any news
articles or posts to e-mail lists.  No error messages... it just leaves the
mail out there waiting to go.
 
Does anyone else have any problems getting IREX to post news, in particular?
 
I was noticing some problems, so I made a change to my setup.  I had all of
the e-mail and news gates pointed to the same dummy node.  I changed it so
that the e-mail gates point to one dummy point node (.99), and the news gates
pointed to a separate one (.98).
 
I did this because I noticed that they appeared to sort of "jam" each other
up if they were in the same packets (i.e. to the same addresses).  This
seemed to work, at first, but tonight I was trying to test something else
and realized that IREX has again stopped posting news and e-mail list
postings.
 
I tried pointing them all back to .99 but this has made no difference.
 
I have double, triple, and quintuple checked to make sure that the gates
are pointed to gate nodes numbers (the aforementined dummies) and that they
have the "mother" node listed as the "from" node. 
Aside from feeding it some
ex-lax, does anyone have any other ideas?  ;-)
