-=> Quoting Michael Mcsorley to David Hartung <=-
MM> Seasons Greetings!
Thanks!
MM> I too am concerned about the lack of representation out there.
MM> If there were a Libertarian candidate to vote for, I'd be feverishly
MM> pushing the button. Sadly, however, that is not the case. It's hard to
MM> lean either way for the sake of having some sort of voice, but it's
MM> what's on your table at the moment. Hang in there!
The lack of real candidates committed to limited governments is what
has me so concerned!
MM> In regards to your statement regarding Republican support to
MM> tax credits for private school attendance and their riding the federal
MM> control of local issues thing, I have to say that they are only trying
MM> to use an old Democrat ploy... INCREMENTALISM. It would be unrealistic
MM> to think that the feds will just hand control of the school system back
MM> to us and say, "Here ya go, we've really been screwing up... OOOPS?"
MM> The best we can do at the moment is do a little here and a little
MM> there, hoping that the general public will realize eventually what you
MM> and I both know.
Every time I convince myself of this, I run into indications that the
Republican Congress has managed to encroach on our liberty even more.
