Hello All!

A reminder to users of the binkd mailer, argus, radius,taurus or Internet Rex.

If you use fileboxes for any link, even if you only have one link and that
link is your uplink.

Never ever... Never ever..

Configure a FILEBOX directory to be the same directory as what you have
configured to be the outbound for the mailer.

These directories are not meant to same..

A Filebox is a special directory that is unique only to one link, in which
any file deposited into it gets sent unconditionally with no questions
asked to that link. If you have more than one link, each link has to have a
unique directory.

In the past 48 hours, I have had two links, either from the get go or
through a recent change, configure a filebox for my system to be the same
directory as their configured OUTBOUND directory for their mailer, one was
using binkd, the other Taurus. As a result, I was getting every steenkin
*.?LO, *.?sy and *.try file that was in their mailers outbound directory,
fortunately I dont think these 2 systems had other links, for if they did,
it would have thrown a wrench in the gears.

Ideally one should have a tosser that can natively pack to a filebox, like
the husky software, this is what I do and no *.?lo files ever get created
for those with a filebox. Absent of such a capable tosser, a good script or
third party program that can read the outbound, move the files over to a
filebox and then delete the *.?lo files.
