I'm considering taking in a moustache parakeet that needs a home.  I
don't yet know why the current owners don't want it anymore.  From the
pictures I was shown of it, it's a female (black beak).  I have been
unable to really find any info on the personality/pet quality of this
species.  In looking I have seen that they are pretty inexpensive, so it
surprises me that there is not more info on the net about them.  What
little info my parrot books have about them is rather contradictory, so
any help or personal experiences would be appreciated.
