subject: Does it matter? Nah....

Having read quite a few stories of why some folks (totally abled in
body and mind) totally loathe family get togethers- where the
greater percentage are or may as well be total strangers just as hotly
as I do! So I gather from this, being 'disabled' in some way doesn't
matter at all. I'd probably STILL hate it.... hmmmmm.

Why do some of us loathe family gatherings where there's only maybe
two or four people out of two or three dozen you actually talk with
and have fun with? hmm. Why might that be?

Maybe the expense of traveling to the gathering place has something to
do with it? Maybe not having much at all to do there, once there, has
something to do with it? maybe realizing it's much cheaper to chat via
phone or email has something to do with it? maybe putting up with some
irksome kin has something to do with it? hmmmmmm!

BUt and yeah there's always a but! SOMETHING good always comes out of
suffering such affairs: you appreciate home! Suddenly HOME looks so
much more appealing! Yeah.

Why do we have to suffer the absence of something in order to
appreciate it?

Cindy
