Frank, why don't we compile a collection of messages on this topic:
"What are techniques you use to manage your network in a manner that 
classifies you as a top Novell system administrator?"
Let's share our ideas, techniques, and knowledge to everybody's
benefit.
I envision postings that would include clever/useful ideas used in:
        batch files
        system login scripts
        user login scripts
        autoexec.ncf/startup.ncf
        manual activities/processes
        performance tuning
and which employ Novell system utilities or third party software you find to 
be particularly elegant and useful.
Anything that you feel fits "[this] is good to do, and here's how I did it" 
would be appropriate.  In other words, brag a little.
