Any application that supports roaming profiles should work. This leads to the second idea. Can you use roaming profiles? You may even be able to enable them temporarily just for the duration of the migration. I've never tried the latter myself so can't comment on the effectiveness. I do use roaming profiles here, they are handy. For some reason I can't exactly determine, the Autodesk civil design series still doesn't work with roaming profiles. It's odd because vanilla AutoCAD seems fine with them. Also on some older machine the profile is stored in \winnt\profiles and on the new machines it's Documents and Settings. Usually I have to give the user temporary admin rights, do the install, then remove them from the admins. I'm going to try the Laplink software Glenn mentioned to see if that works. I can get it for $20 and if it works it may be the easiest way to accomplish what I want.
