We've all been there at one point or another,  but the choice to express it
is another matter.

I've corresponded directly with both those folks,  though not that recently
for either of them.  Don't recall the dispute you're talking about,  but
knowing the style of the two gentlemen mentioned it must have been
something else.

No question of that,  it's just that I hate to see things going in a
particular direction without a bit of a nudge to take them in some other
direction instead.  Letting it go might have been okay,  or it might have
led to things escalating,  and I'd rather avoid that if possible.

Somebody has screwy ideas?  By all means attack the idea.  But not the
person behind it,  that's the basis of all of my moderation,  such as it
is.
