Hi, Jim..
JV> You can still get the JUNO echo by becoming a point node from
JV> any local system that accepts points. As a point, you can
JV> request any backboned echo even if no local BBSs carry it.
JV> I kind of prefer pointing. It has it's plusses and minuses tho.
 JV> It's free here.

Thanks for the suggestion, Jim. I don't have pointing software
and don't really have a great enough need for it to justify installation
and familiarizing myself with it, just for one one echo, but thanks
again for the suggestion.
GP> For those JUNO users who need a place to get dedicated info,

JV> I assume you meant no offence with the "cluttering". I don't
JV> think Juno discussions are any less topical than the other
 JV> threads going on here.
No, I certainly did not intend any offense. Actually I was merely
acknowledging the fact that a few users of this echo have suggested
the discussion of Juno was, in fact, non-topical. Not that I agree,
however. I cut my on-line teeth, as it were, on FidoNet, and am
still a firm supporter (being co-SysOp on this system for about 10 yrs)
of FNet. But when I see a discussion of a specific (Internet) program
I try and point folks to all alternate venues of information.
Regards...
