I had a process running on my #2 desktop today to which I can pcAW from my
#1 desktop. (I only use this when working remotely, because only #1
has an external IP address... so I pcAW to #1 and then pcAW from #1 to
#2.) The process was taking more than twice as long as normal (3+ hours
to process one month's worth of data instead of 1 - 1« hrs). The pcAW host
was running because I hadn't terminated the connection the night before.
After I turned off the pcAW host, the app went back to its normal speed.
I was quite stunned, I never imagined pcAW took that
much.
