subject: Burning a DVD from the commandline?

Hello There,

A question:

Any easy way to burn a directory and any sub-directories to a DVD. In my
Googling most suggestions suggest/describe creating an ISO. I don't want to
create an ISO, I just want to burn a copy of a directory to a DVD from a
bash script. Currently the existing directory tree is approximately 3GB in
size.

Any thoughts?

Jeff
