-=> Quoting Bob Lawrence to John Tserkezis <=-
Hello Bob,
BL> Yair. How cynical can you get? How many have to die? I hear that
BL> droid on the radio, but I can't believe it! It will cost $800 million
BL> to fix, so they decide to let a few die! And this is a Labor Party!
A few bodies here and there with the associated compo is still quite a bit
cheaper than 800M.
BL> Yair... I was ahead of you. Funny you should call her a "droid."
BL> Roberta Robot.
Oh, different voice then, it was a bloke that I heard. But then again, he may
have been one of "those", with all this water situation anyway, he may have
gone through some sort of metamorphisis or something.
BL> I got caught well and truly, the second time. They gave the
BL> all-clear so I drank the water, mixed up my skim milk powder... and
BL> then they say, "DON'T DRINK THE WATER. WE WERE ONLY
KIDDING!" I reckon
BL> that I was dead-set for the squirts, but I didn't feel a thing. That
BL> was when I relaised I was immune to crypto, and that the only way for
BL> that to happen was that the water "filtration" plant didn't, and
BL> hadnlt, since they put it in 4 years ago.
I've been told that crypto is rather difficult to build an immunity against,
but then again, if we've been drinking the crap for a while now, we must be
immune...
BL> Adelaide is a different situation. They're ratshit because they
BL> donlt have an alternative... short of desalination. Sydney is a
BL> high-rainfall area. Sydney has several big dams. It's just a matter of
BL> keeping the shit and the water, separate. Even bloody boongs know you
BL> have to shit downstream.
Yeah, but today we're talking about the water board...
BL> It's not just drinking water. I got by with tea, beer, wine, and a
BL> litre of bottled water a week. The problem is that when you shower in
BL> shit... you always end up swallowing a bit.
You can avoid it, just keep your mouth shut. Can't be that hard...
